Identifying Information – True / False / Not Given Determine whether statements match, contradict, or are not mentioned in the passage. 3. Identifying Writer's Views/Claims – Yes / No / Not Given Assess if the statements reflect the writer’s opinion (Yes), contradict it (No), or are Not Given. 4. Matching Information Match specific details to sections or paragraphs labelled A, B, C, etc. 5. Matching Features (Categorisation) Connect statements to options (e.g., names or characteristics) using letters; some options may be used more than once or not at all. 6. Short-answer questions Step-by-Step Preparation Plan: 1. Build Reading Speed Read English newspapers, journals, or websites (BBC, National Geographic, The Guardian). Practice skimming (get the main idea) and scanning (find specific info). Target speed: about 150–200 words per minute. 2. Practice Strategies Don’t read every word – move quickly, focus on keywords.
